A little Southern hospitality
Look no further than WordCamp DFW for a definition of southern hospitality. The venue was great, talks were awesome, and … well … it’s Texas, so there were plenty of boots, belt buckles, and big ol’ cowboy hats. Ok, well maybe mine was the only cowboy hat, but there were plenty of boots and buckles.
The talks at WordCamp DFW were awesome
Speaking of the awesome talks, Chris Lema opened WordCamp DFW with a keynote about storytelling (highly recommend having a look), and I heard some great conversations & talks about global censorship and surviving the struggles of freelancing. I even threw my hat in the ring with a talk about hacking your personal workflow.
Enjoy the photos, and let me know what you thought about the camp, if you attended! Oh, and give the organizers props by giving ’em a tweet!
By the way, if you haven’t checked out the new Managed WordPress hosting that GoDaddy released about a year ago, you might want to see what all the excitement is about. 😉
