WordCamp Switzerland

This weekend, I had the excellent opportunity to spend time learning from and giving back to the WordPress community in Zürich at WordCamp Switzerland.

The camp ran like a well-oiled machine and was particularly refreshing because of its single focus. WordCamp Switzerland was a one-track conference with a great program and something for everyone. What made the schedule so rich, was the great combination of short and long talks (along with a couple panels) on a varied group of topics from user to dev to lifestyle. Of course, I might be a bit biased on the quality of programming since I had the pleasure of presenting about creating purposeful content. I even took campers on a tour through some of the first websites I ever created. We laughed, and looking at those old sites made me want to cry a bit.

The weekend finished strong with a great get-together at Kanzlei, and a well-attended contribution day at Amazee Labs (who graciously opened their beautiful space to us) led by Petya Raykovska.

Enjoy the photos from the event (not pictured here, the three pounds of Swiss chocolate I purchased for family 😉 😀 ).
